We are currently putting together our Dinuba Chamber Community Guidebook. It is our desire to make this an annual project so that we may update our members information and keep a book that has current community information that can be disseminated to our members, the community and visitors. In the past we have printed mass quantities, that became obsolete before they were distributed.   For this reason we are printing 500 initially but reprints will be done during the course of the year as needed.

Rabobank, N.A.’s Dinuba Branch was recently honored as the city’s Small Business of the Year during the Chamber of Commerce’s annual awards banquet.

The theme of the night was “Celebrating 100 Years of Progress” and on hand to accept Rabobank’s award was Michael Bodourian, VP/Branch Manager in Dinuba. Many Central Valley Region Rabobankers were on hand at the event to celebrate the honor with Michael and his staff.

Rabobankers at the event included; Anker Fanoe, Regional President; Larry Velasquez, Retail Regional Manager; Bill Williams, Hanford Branch Manager; David Azma, Commercial Regional Manager; Marnie Owen, Regional Marketing Officer; Kathleen Kelly, Mooney Branch Manager; George Vasquez, Visalia Branch Manager; Luis Ruiz, Commercial Banking Officer; Stephen Bradford, Premier Client Services Officer; Celeste Thomas, Tulare Branch Manager; Deanne Thornhill, Fresno Branch Customer Service Manager; and Darrel Hyatt, Fresno Branch Manager. Joining Michael on stage to accept the award were Dinuba Rabobankers Charene Vanderpol, Sylvia Uyeg and Virginia Martinez. Dinuba Rabobankers unable to attend were Crystal Garcia and Laura Quiroz.

Local business owner Glenn Surabian gave the nomination speech for Rabobank. He listed several of the organizations that Rabobank has sponsored, including Ruiz 4 Kids, Alta District Historical Society, Dinuba Sunrise Rotary Golf Tournament, Proteus Scholarship Committee, Evangel Bible Church annual Harvest Festival, Israel Garcia Golf Tournament, Raisin Day Pancake Breakfast, Cutler-Orosi Classic Car Night, Miss Dinuba pageant and Open Gate Ministries.

RNA’s Dinuba Branch has also participated in Relay for Life, Dinuba High School FFA vine pruning, Dinuba Car Show, the Raisin Day Parade and booth, Dinuba Rotary, Dinuba Kiwanis, Dinuba Taste & Tunes, helped in rebuilding the Dinuba community float, Rotary Christmas baskets and created and assisted in organizing “Good Morning Dinuba.”

Michael belongs to several local clubs and serves as Vice President of the Dinuba Chamber of Commerce.

Also at the annual awards banquet, Rabobank presented a check for $5,000 to Pacific Southwest Community Development for the new senior citizen apartment complex to be built in downtown Dinuba. Michael presented the check to Juan Arroyo, Executive Vice President for Pacific Southwest Community Development.

Congratulations to the staff at the Rabobank Dinuba Branch for its outstanding customer service and earning this wonderful distinction.
